| ABOUT POLYCRETE OR POLYMER CONCERETE |
| |
 |
'Polycrete' is a versatile, durable, composite material produced by mixing a variety of mineral fillers with a synthetic resin binding agent.
This advanced engineering material is used in many industries but is most common in the building and construction industries where its long life and material properties make it ideal for many products.
Thus, it is commonly used in areas subject to heavy wear and high loadings such as car parks, roadways and industrial areas. Also used in sanitory ware like bath tubs, basins, sinks, kitchen tops etc. |

Material Features
Polycrete is also referred to as artificial marble and is a composite material consisting of dry aggregate fillers and a monomer system, polymerized in place by catalyzed peroxide decomposition.
The principal components of Polycrete are gravel, silica quartz and calcium carbonate bound together with a polymer resin.
By changing the type of fillers, as well as resin systems, we can tailor make products to suit our requirements.
